Crepe Paper - The Auricula Theatre or Primrose

{Old Masters Floral Series}  Auriculas belonged to a special class of especially beloved ornamental flowers in the 18th century called "Florists Flowers".  One look at their vivid, carnival color combinations will explain why. Urban gardeners liked to show off their specimens in shelved "theatres" where the flowers' delicate features would be safe from the elements.  They are also a common foil to the larger roses and peonies in old floral paintings.  Learn to make a complete specimen, down to the leaves, complete with a paper pot.  You will use a variety of tools at your disposal to create the color cultivar of your choosing.
